Who we are

Technocast Foundry Pvt. Ltd. is a grey iron and ductile iron casting foundry at 127/3B, Sangothipalayam, Arasur, Coimbatore – 641 407, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy covers this website, technocastfoundry.com, and the enquiries you send us through it.

What this policy covers

This is a business-to-business website. You cannot buy anything on it, there are no user accounts, and we never ask for payment or bank details. The only personal information we handle is what you choose to send us in an enquiry, plus the usage data our analytics tool records.

Information you give us

The enquiry form on our Contact page asks for your name, your company name and your email address. You may also choose to add a phone number, a part or drawing reference, a material grade, a casting weight, an annual quantity, the supply condition you need, the testing you need and your timeline.

Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and emailed to our sales team. If you email or call us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that message.

Please send only what we need to quote your part. Do not send personal information about other people, and do not send drawings or data you are not permitted to share.

Information we collect automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics. It records which pages are viewed, roughly which country or region the visit came from, which device and browser were used, and how visitors move between pages. We use it to see which casting and capability pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
• Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from another. Our own theme sets no advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server information — IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser used — for security and troubleshooting.

Downloads

Our brochure and our ISO, IATF 16949 and PED certificates can be downloaded from the Quality page without filling in a form. We do not ask for your details before a download, and we do not connect a download to a named visitor.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry details only to:

• work out whether we can make your casting, and on which moulding line
• prepare a quotation and reply to you
• keep a record of what was asked and what was quoted, so a repeat enquiry does not start from zero
• meet the record keeping our quality management system requires

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other foundries, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.

Your drawings and technical data

Drawings, specifications and part data you send us stay your commercial property. Inside Technocast they go only to the people who need them to assess and quote the part — pattern, methoding, metallurgy and sales. We do not publish customer names, part names or drawings anywhere on this website. If your drawing needs a signed non-disclosure agreement before you send it, tell us and we will sign one first.

Who else can see your information

Only the service providers that run this website and our email, and only for that purpose:

• our website host, which runs the server and the database the site sits on
• Google, for the analytics described above
• our email provider, which carries the enquiry notification to our sales team

We may also disclose information where the law or a court requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as there is a live commercial reason to keep it — an open quotation, a running order, or a part we may be asked to quote again — and afterwards for as long as our quality management system and Indian statutory record keeping require. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will, unless we are obliged to keep it.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the enquiry form is encrypted in transit. Access to the website administration area and to stored enquiries is limited to named members of our team, each with their own login.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• send you a copy of the enquiry details we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your enquiry record
• stop contacting you

Write to marketing@tcf.net.in, or to the postal address below, from the email address you used to enquire, and tell us what you would like changed. We will confirm what we have done.

Children

This website is written for engineers and buyers in industry. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other websites

Where we link out — to a certification body, for example — that site has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how it handles your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change the way we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check it again if it matters to you.
