Technocast Foundry supplies seven sectors from one plant at Arasur, Coimbatore. The share shown against each sector below is our actual business mix, not a wish list - it tells you which moulding lines and grades we run most often, and where our tooling and process experience is deepest.
Each sector was won on a part, then grew from there. Automotive work covers OEM and Tier-1 programmes in India and overseas. Tractors and off-highway brought equipment makers in India and Europe, construction equipment brought global earthmoving OEMs, and the flow industry brought international pump and valve builders. Precision equipment and HVAC customers came later.
Around 25 per cent of what we pour stays in India, much of it inside Tamil Nadu and the Coimbatore engineering belt. The remaining 75 per cent is exported, mainly to the United States, Europe and the rest of Asia.

Automotive
Car, truck, bus and tractor makers use our ductile and grey iron for engine and gearbox mounts, suspension brackets, lever arms, pulleys and small housings. Volumes are high and tolerances are tight, so most of this work runs on the high pressure moulding line and leaves machined and CED coated.

Off-Highway Vehicles
Tractors, loaders and material handling machines need castings that survive shock load and long duty cycles. We pour axle housings, wheel hubs, planet carriers and steering knuckles on the ARPA and No Bake lines, heat treat them on site, then machine and pressure test them before despatch.

Transmission and Powertrain
Gearbox cases, differential housings, flywheel hubs and gear blanks are heavily cored and have to hold oil for the life of the machine. Parts run from 1.5 kg up to 1,100 kg, and bores and faces are cut on our own horizontal centres before being proved on CMM.

Pumps and Valves
Pressure-carrying parts leave no room for porosity. We pour casings, volutes, impellers, valve bodies and flanged fittings in grey iron, ductile iron and stainless grades, and we hold PED certification for pressure equipment. Parts are pressure tested in house.

Wind Energy
Turbine components are large, thick-sectioned and expected to last for decades. The Alpha-set No Bake line takes single pieces up to 1,500 kg, fed by its own melting bay of two 1.5 tonne induction furnaces, so a large mould is filled from one controlled pour.

Construction and Earthmoving
Excavator and crane builders take swing frames, boom brackets, links and roller components. Many are supplied as finished sub-assemblies: cast, welded to formed steel with TIG, MIG or arc processes, painted, and load tested on a 2,000 tonne press.

Machine Tool
Machine beds, columns, saddles and spindle housings are poured mostly in grey iron for damping and machinability. What matters is stability, so they are stress relieved before a single face is cut.

Tractors and Off-Highway
Tractor and off-highway equipment makers. Axle housings, wheel hubs, steering knuckles and transmission cases, moulded on ARPA and No Bake in single pieces up to 1,500 kg.
Construction and Earthmoving
Global earthmoving and construction equipment makers. Swing frames, boom and link brackets, track components and counterweights, welded and load tested here before despatch.
Pumps, Valves and Flow
International pump and valve manufacturers. Casings, volutes, impellers and valve bodies in iron, cast steel and stainless. Our PED approval covers ductile and grey cast iron, and parts are pressure tested on site.
Precision and Industrial Equipment
Precision equipment and HVAC customers. Machine beds, columns and housings in grey iron, stress relieved and measured on a scanning-probe coordinate measuring machine.

Yes. The seven sectors are where our volume sits today, not a limit. If the part is grey iron, ductile (SG) iron or steel between 1 kg and 1,500 kg, send the drawing and we will tell you which line it suits.
